MEI BEHNKE AS YOUNG GRACE

Mei is in 7th grade at Lopez Island School. She has always loved to perform, move, dance, and sing. She loves to travel, dive into the ocean waves, and come home to her dog Cooper. Her favorite animal is a crab.

ADA ENTERMANN AS YOUNG GRACE REFLECTION

Ada has lived on Lopez Island at Sunnyfield Farm with her mom, dad, and two brothers her whole life.  She loves goats, music (especially writing her own songs on the piano), the outdoors, and sports: particularly soccer, cheer, and volleyball.  Climbing trees and jumping on the trampoline in the rain are also things Ada loves to do. Ada is in 6th grade, and her favorite subject is poetry.  She has performed in two plays with the Missoula Children’s Theater before “Enough.”  One of her favorite expressions to get through hard things is “Farm girls never give up.

Shadow Keepers

Anita Stone

Anita loves her theatre family.  She really enjoyed drama in high school.  She helped out with a lot of church productions, including acting, writing, directing, costumes, and puppets.  Anita was born a clown.  Her dad said the doctor dropped her, and she’s been doing pratfalls ever since.  After a twenty-year hiatus, she was thrilled to find LOT.  She joined in after seeing the 2024 production.  Jack Tronsdal’s playwriting labs in the spring of 2025 opened the floodgates.  Elena Zubalake taught us about devised theater.  Anita has been writing plays and doing clown and puppetry pieces ever since.  Knowing that your work may be produced on our very own home stage is inspirational. Big thanks to everyone who does a LOT to make this theater magic happen.

Kenny Dandy

Kenny came to Lopez in 1999 to do natural building with straw bale and cob. He is a former skateboarder and gymnast/tumbler and spent 10 years at the original Muscle Beach in Santa Monica doing acrobatics. Spent 12 years in the motion picture industry as a stuntman and had a few minor acting parts. He also graduated from the Tao Healing Arts Center in Santa Monica as a shiatsu therapist.

His major role now is driving a school bus for LIDS. This is his 17th year! He does eldercare work as well.  Kenny is a Renaissance guy!

Heather Danielle Sperry

A cosmically created child, a little wild, a little feral, a whole lot of kindness and shyness. I have been granted creative guidance from the many places I have lived and the experiences I have taken part in. Missoula Children’s Theater, orchestra, choir, art class, creative writing, culinary, and chemical dependency professional training. All have helped craft me into being. I continue to develop myself with the help of my surroundings and community, to deepen my understanding of what matters most. Granting inspiration for the next generations.

Evan Palmer

Evan is performing in his first LOT production this year!  He is in his second year on the island and feels incredibly lucky to be a part of the Lopez community. Evan has always been a performer, both on and off stage.  Having grown up doing improv and acting in community theater, it feels natural for him to be on stage.  He is excited to be a part of such a collaborative production; devised theatre offers a unique bond between the performers.

Taryn Laakso

Taryn has loved performing since an early age, starting as a young ballerina and ice skater and continuing through middle and high school drama performances. In middle school, she was cast as the lead role in Lysistrata's Daughter and continued acting in roles such as the White Stag and the Elf in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and was part of the ensemble cast of The Mikado and Dracula. Taryn's first performance with LOT was Michelle in Barbara's Always Asking in the Fall 2025 production of Side B of The Other Side. In addition to performing, Taryn volunteers her time to support LOT on the LTAC grant application and is part of the production team.

Paul Lewis

Paul is a long-time Lopez Island resident, a counselor by trade with a penchant for ritual, singing, and theater. He loves rivers, mountains, the combination of wood and sails, the sound of a flute echoing into Watmough Bay, and walks with Viva, an intrepid Golden Retriever.

Hannah Rose

Hannah is grateful to play for a third year.

Crew Bios

Directed by Brian Rick

Brian Rick found the stage when he was ten, which led to performing, directing, set design/construction, lighting, sound & makeup for numerous productions from educational to community to professional theater, TV & film. He graduated from a performing arts high school and has a college degree in theater. Brian is one of the co-founders of LOT and serves as Production Manager, Technical Director, Lighting Designer, and sometimes Actor.

He is also the Director/Creator of Enough, an original work of physical theater, which found its inspiration through his personal journey of self-acceptance earlier this year. Starting out as I Am Enough, the play is a true ensemble piece, with ideas coming from all company members, and the story evolving through the rehearsal process. He is beyond grateful to his fellow “Nuffers” for their creative collaboration, their thoughtful devotion, and, above all, their infectious playfulness. It definitely takes a “We” to be enough.

Stage Managed by Rosie/Roseamber Sumner

Rosie/Roseamber Sumner is part of the ongoing production crew for LOT that meets weekly and makes many “backstage” decisions.  She comes from years on stage, and although she misses treading the boards, there is true magic in making sure the audience construct will hold.  This year she is stage managing for “Enough” as well as guiding Reader’s Theater Night.?
